Bastion Cells sit near the top of every serious farming list in ARC Raiders, and you figure out why pretty fast. They gate useful upgrades, they never seem to drop in the amounts you need, and they usually cost you ammo, meds, and nerves to get. That's why a lot of players keep an eye on ARC Raiders Items and compare what's worth grinding versus what's worth saving for. Still, if you want to pull cells out of the field yourself, you've got to treat Bastion kills like a proper salvage run, not a victory lap. The machine going down is only step one. The real profit comes from what you touch first once the wreck hits the ground.

A common mistake is looting whatever chunk of metal is closest. Feels quick, but it's usually rubbish. The wreck is split into lootable areas, and not all of them are equal. Start with the central body and the exposed core. That's where your best odds are, and that's where the higher-value drops tend to show up. After that, move to the larger armour sections if the area still feels safe. Leave the limbs, hinges, and stray fragments until last. They can pay out, sure, but more often they just burn time you don't have. If you manage the fight alone and get clean access to the wreck, pulling around seven Bastion Cells is realistic. In a squad, though, the split can feel rough, especially if everyone needs the same craft parts.

What really makes Bastion farming messy isn't just the fight. It's the noise. Once that thing starts firing and stomping around, your position might as well be broadcast to half the lobby. You'll notice it after a few runs. The second the battle drags on, the odds of another team drifting over go way up. Then you're stuck in that awful spot where you've spent your ammo, your armour's cracked, and now someone fresh wants the reward. A lot of players lose the haul not because they played badly, but because they stayed on the wreck too long. Fast looting matters. So does knowing when to give up the last scrap and leave.

There's another way to farm, and yeah, some people hate it. You hear a Bastion fight in the distance, you track the sound, and you wait. No need to rush in. Let the other squad soak the damage, burn their grenades, and get tunnel vision on the kill. Then watch for the moment things loosen up. Maybe the Bastion is one burst from dropping. Maybe one player is down. Maybe they start looting before they've checked the ridge. That's your opening. It's not noble, but ARC Raiders doesn't reward noble. It rewards timing. If you can read a fight and move at the right second, you can leave richer than the team that actually started it.

The best Bastion farmers aren't always the best shots. Usually, they're the ones who read the map well, keep their exits in mind, and don't get greedy once the cells are in the bag. That's the bit newer players miss. A good run is about control, not drama. Hit the valuable sections first, stay alert while salvaging, and don't hang around just because there might be one more drop tucked into a busted leg plate. If your gear is thin, it can also make sense to prep before the hunt with something like cheap Raiders weapons so you're not walking into a Bastion fight already behind. In this game, surviving the trip out matters more than winning the loudest fight on the map.
